Moose Riders helping Friends

On Saturday October 14th, the Moose Riders took part in a fund raiser benefit for Tracey and Allen Dube.
Tracy requires special surgery and this fund raiser was to help defray the costs. These surgeries cost them $3,000 dollars "out of pocket expense" for each operation. She has to travel to Pennsylvannia which is one of only three hospitals in the world that perform this type of surgery that she needs.
Each visit consumes a one week stay at the hospital and we understand that to date Tracey has had 15 of these surgeries.
The event was put on by Erv and Tracy Harrison and Sprague Rod and Gun Club.
Get a load of this...Allen and Tracy had no idea about this event. The couple was originally told it was for an engagement party for one of the members of the Rod and Gun Club and they were totally surprised when the annoucement was made at the beginning of the event that the fund raiser was actually for them.
The fund raiser was a huge success and the Sprague Rod and Gun Club raised $3,600 dollars towards the cause.

Glenn Cote and Diane Pierce (center) of the Connecticut Moose Riders present a check in the amount of $500 dollars to help Tracey get the help she needs. (left).
Erv Doubleday and Tracy Harrison, the event organizers, are breaking the news that the night is really all about them !
Surprise guys.. your friends have put this party on for you !
To Tracy and Allen,
We wish you all the best...
